Meet Dr. Dana Veis

Dr. Dana Veis is a board-certified orthodontist who was born and raised in San Diego. She attended college in Santa Barbara, where she met her husband, Landon.

Dr. Veis later completed dental school and her orthodontic residency at the University of Kentucky, earning both her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and Master of Science (MS) degrees. While in Kentucky,
she enjoyed the changing seasons and the beauty of Kentucky bluegrass country, but ultimately returned home to sunny San Diego.

Outside of the office, Dr. Veis enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters. Their home is also filled with energy thanks to their
three dogs and three cats—clear evidence of her love for animals.

In her free time, she enjoys CrossFit, traveling, exploring San Diego’s vibrant food scene, and spending time at the beach with her family.

Passionate about facial esthetics

Dr. Veis is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident
smiles. Creating beautiful smiles is one of the most rewarding parts of
her work, and she truly loves the art and science of orthodontics. She
has a particular passion for facial esthetics and facial balance, and
enjoys designing smiles that complement each patient’s overall facial
harmony. She feels incredibly fortunate to practice a profession she is
passionate about and is grateful to do what she loves every day.
